School details: name, address, board affiliation, contact information
To provide school management features (attendance, fees, homework, reports)
To send WhatsApp notifications to parents (only when enabled by school admin)
To generate PDF reports, fee receipts, and ID cards
To improve platform features and fix issues
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Data is only shared:
With the school admin who manages your account
With WhatsApp (via WAHA) only for sending notifications you have consented to
With AWS (Amazon Web Services) for secure cloud hosting and backups
4. Data Security
HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
Secure PIN-based authentication with rate limiting and account lockout
CSRF protection on all forms
Automated encrypted backups every 6 hours to AWS S3
5. Data Retention
School data is retained as long as the school account is active. Upon account closure, data is deleted within 30 days upon written request.
6. Children's Privacy
SSMS is used by schools to manage student records. Student data is entered by school administrators. We do not directly collect information from children.
7. Your Rights
School admins may contact us to request data access, correction, or deletion at any time.
